Major, trace and heavy metal determination
LabWest offers analysis of up to 61 trace elements (including major nutrients, heavy metals and rare earths) in a wide range of sample types. Solid samples are digested in appropriate acids in microwave digestion apparatus, and the elemental concentrations are determined by ICP-Mass Spectrometry (trace and heavy metals) and ICP- Optical Emission Spectrometry (major nutrient metals).
